Event Description:
Tour de Salt Shaker is a Saline County community event that will bring cycling and backyard barbeque together for a day of fun. The Saline County festival will raise awareness and support for adoption and foster care in our community as well as support services for women in unplanned pregnancies. All proceeds from this event will go to ABBA Charities, Inc which support these services in Saline County and throughout the State of Arkansas.
The Tour de Salt Shaker ride will comprise of three cycling routes throughout Saline County. We will have a Fondo (47.69 miles), Medio (31.08), and Townie (9.88). The Townie is a great “family fun ride”. This event will begin and end in downtown Benton where our Backyard BBQ Cook-off will be hosted and festivities for the whole family including craft booths, face painting, a tot race, live entertainment, food trucks and more.
In addition, we will be hosting a Mt Bike relay at Mills Park, which will also have craft booths, food trucks, music, and
festivities for the whole family.
